Chiesa Madre
Dedicated to the Madonna dell’Assunta, the church is the main sacred building of the city, with its beautiful Siracusa white stone facade, mosaics made by Tuscan artists and its wonderful dome.
Chiaramonte Castle
One of the most important historical buildings in the city. Built around the 13th century at the behest of Frederick II, today it is the seat of the Town Council. Don’t miss the permanent exhibition of the painter Pasquale Farruggia.

An archaeological site with testimonies dating back to the Bronze Age. It includes more than a hundred open-air tombs dug into the rock and dating back to the 5th and 6th centuries A.D., already known in the early 15th century.
