Favara

Visit Favara and discover the city of the Easter lamb

A few kilometres from the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, there is a small village whose origins date back to the copper age. In this small town, which stands on the third tip of a hill of Agrigento, many dominations have followed one another, from Greek to Arab. Not surprisingly, the name Favara comes from the Arab name fawwāra, which means source.

You can lose yourself in the narrow alleys of the city and let the old-fashioned atmosphere entertain you.

Farm Cultural Park is in the historic city centre, a dream turned into reality, a place where art becomes culture of the territory. An art gallery organized along seven courtyards that host permanent contemporary art exhibitions and installations, artist residences, spaces for socializing and temporary living, spaces that host conferences and concerts, a secret garden and a hundred other things. all to be discovered.
